The College Accessibility Measure

Creating an all-new research measure for the field

Our research center was established knowing that a foundational research measure we need doesn’t exist.

But now we’re creating it.

The College Accessibility Measure will help researchers determine demographic predictors and the relationship to disabled student outcomes.

Measure Development Process

Conducted an initial pilot survey at a large public university

Launching a nationwide pilot survey in March 2024 to reach a broader and more representative population that will validate the measure

Provide final survey questions to our data partner, Center for Community College Student Engagement, to add them as a module on their Community College Survey of Student Engagement in early 2025
